Dear Stuart,

Thank you so very much for Graham’s funeral service, It really couldn’t have been any better. It was everything he and I had hoped it would be.

It is such a good idea to send your talk by email for the loved one left behind to see – such a sensible, thoughtful thing to do, if only vicars and priests did the same thing!

So many people said how good the service was and that it was the best funeral they had been to – hopefully they hadn’t been to too many! They also asked who you were, as they thought what a lovely man you were and what a super service you did.

So I just wanted to send you a BIG BIG THANK YOU, for the service and for being so kind, you are just great at what you do.

Love and blessings

Dear Stuart

We wanted  to write and thank you once again for the the lovely ceremony on Friday and all the hard work you put into the preparation. We appreciated the way you kept in touch every step of the way. The feedback we have had from those who attended has been amazing, they all said that it was the most personal and special ceremony they had been to and that includes the more religious amongst us!.  The snow made it seem even more magical and the whole atmosphere and ethos of Clayton Wood has made many see what a fantastic place it is.  We shall be placing a plaque at Mark’s grave in a few weeks time when the weather has improved.  It is certainly a place that we will visit more often than if it was a conventional cemetery.
We will let Brooks know how impressed we were with the way you had arranged the order of the ceremony and of course your eulogy, and will most definitely recommend your services to anyone who asks.
With best wishes
Lin, David and Vicky

Hello Stuart

I just wanted to thank you so very much for the wonderful Eulogy you read out at Mum’s funeral on Friday I know the memories were ours but, you filled in the gaps so expertly with respect and love and these words made all the difference to the service.  I can’t begin to tell you how comforted we were by the words you used.

We had many people come up to us and compliment us on a wonderful service and, I think we may have influenced some people to change the way they think about saying goodbye to loved ones in the future.

Once again thank you so much for all that you did (we love you for it).

Love and best wishes

Vanda, Sharon & Jessica

Dear Stuart

I write to express my sincerest personal thanks for your wonderful efforts in creating, and delivering, as celebrant, just the perfect thanksgiving service for my mother, Peggy. Everyone at the wake commented what a superb send-off the service was for Mum, and particularly highlighted your contribution as leader of the occasion.

You have a very special ability to tease out of people, at a difficult time for them, what they really want and need to commemorate their loved one, and always in such a sympathetic and delicate way.  Your great ability to get to know someone you could not have known, and to liaise with us to create exactly what we wanted, even if we didn’t know beforehand, is a skill that everyone in our position would appreciate greatly. You spared no effort in fine-tuning every aspect of all the contributions to this important (to us) occasion. The time you spent on this was, in my view, under-rewarded in the fee you charged.

Yours sinserely,

Dear Stuart

Now that my father has been laid to rest, I wanted to thank you most sincerely for conducting the service so beautifully. Funerals are a time for so many mixed emotions and I think I can say on behalf of us all that your words not only gave us great comfort and support when we needed it the most but also great happiness and joy when you reminded us that this was also a celebration of Horace’s life and that so many wonderful memories are there to be cherished.

We were so fortunate to have you there on Friday. I only wish you could have conducted the service at my mother’s funeral. A fellow Geordie would have fitted the bill beautifully and I’m sure the occasion would have been treated with all the dignity and involvement that was so sadly lacking when conducted by an assistant C of E vicar! You have certainly found your calling in life.

Very best wishes

Hi Stuart,

just wanted to send a quick email to thank you so much for the service yesterday. You managed to capture my mum so well in spite of never having met her. Everybody commented on the service and how good it was.

She was a unique lady and will be missed by all who knew her (for whatever reason!!)

Best regards

We just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful service
you gave for Dad yesterday. It was a perfect blend and captured the
spirit of him so well. All the family and friends remarked on it and
thought you delivered it so fittingly. We feel we have given Dad the
send off he deserved.
Thank you once again,

kind regards

Rosemary and Fizz.

We would all just like to say thank you very much for yesterday.  You made a very hard day much easier for us all.  Everyone commented on what a wonderful job you did.

Many thanks

All we can say is thank you so much for giving Mum such an amazing farewell. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone else in need of such services in the future
